Rick Tzompa Chimal is a student at the George Washington University where he majors in International Affairs. He is a Communications and Policy Intern at the Im/migrant Well-Being Scholar Collaborative. He also serves as the State Officer Coach for the DC Technology Student Association, where he mentors middle and high school students through career development and discovery with a focus on post-secondary opportunities. Previously, he was a Communications Intern at the League of Women Voters of the United States, where he contributed to public-facing content around voting rights and election information. With his interests in immigrant advocacy, student leadership, and people-powered projects, Rick is committed to empowering marginalized communities and addressing systemic injustice at the Collaborative.
