Alexis Reynoso

Alexis Reynoso serves as a graduate fellow for the Im/migrant Well-Being Scholar Collaborative, where she helps disseminate information to advocate for the immigrant community and Latino students. Alexis is pursuing her master’s in public health with a concentration in epidemiology. Her main interest is the impact of migration on the health and well-being of underserved populations. Her goal is to advance public health policies that will consider the immigrant population, specifically those who are undocumented.

Alexis received a B.S. in Public Health from San Diego State University, where she was an undergraduate research fellow at the Research & Equity Scholarship Institute (RESISTE). She engaged in ongoing research projects funded by the NSF to investigate the impact of state and federal legislation on STEM education at Hispanic Serving Institutions, focusing on the factors influencing student success.
