Marko Sanchez

Marko Sánchez serves as the Communications Intern at the Im/migrant Well-Being Scholar Collaborative. They assist in creating public-facing communications and content such as social media posts, website blogs, and press releases. Previously, Marko interned at The Leyden Archives, where they collaborated with community members, students, and educators in history to compile documents and ephemera about untold Latine stories. Later, Marko served as the summer intern for their state representative in Illinois, working on constituent cases and the development of the outreach services program. These experiences helped them develop a passion for social justice in academic fields through rooted scholarship and community-oriented projects. Currently, Marko is a sophomore at George Washington University, studying Political Science and History.
