As the Trump Administration moves forward with its mass deportation plan, more than 170,000 Salvadoran nationals face the potential threat of their Temporary Protected Status (TPS) ending. Meanwhile, other large groups, including Haitians, have already face removal of status and increasing numbers being deported to Haiti.

ICE arrested nearly 50 immigrant workers in two central Pennsylvania operations, advocates say
Nearly 50 individuals have been taken into ICE custody after two operations carried out in Danville, Pennsylvania. The individuals were identified as being construction workers at the Geisinger Medical Center.
Trump’s Census Overhaul Would Exclude Some Immigrants and Remove Questions on Race
Who counts as a US citizen may drastically change with propsals stemming from the Trump Administration’s to alter the 2030 census. Such changes would potentially exclude immigrants without green cards and bar any questions related to race, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
US resumes immigrant visa processing for Hungary, Poland while wider pause continues
A selective restart has taken place for immigrant visa processing for Hungarian and Polish applicants. The US government has not explained why these two nations have been singled out as other applicants remain in limbo.

Five EU nations inch towards deal on migrant ‘return hubs’ by 2027
Five EU nations— including Germany, Austria, Greece, Denmark and the Netherlands— have advanced plans to establish “migrant return hubs” in countries outside of the EU. Other human rights groups have stressed that these proposed hubs could further pose considerable human rights risks and anti-immigrant sentiments
Guyana becomes latest “third country” to accept migrants deported from U.S.
Guyana is one of the latest nations to accept small groups of U.S. deportees. The Latin American country is a member of CARICOM (Caribbean Community), and has joined several other members in their participation of President Trump’s third-country deportation program.
